ALL of our frames are built with REAL glass and REAL mat board and a solid construction that brings our customers back year after year to buy certificate frames. Your frame will arrive individually boxed and ready for your 8 1/2 x 11 or 8 x 10 certificate. Nothing to assemble. You just load your certificate.

Detailed Shadow Box Certificate Frame Construction & Material Information
All of our frames use frame-shop quality mat board from major mat board suppliers such as Bainbridge and Crescent. Our foil accents are traditional hot foil stamped and die cut to create our unique mat details that make our products the perfect award frame. Our door backs are black solid chipboard with metal hardware for easy loading of your certificate. The door backs come with pre-installed hanging hardware and can hang horizontally or vertically. Our unique shadowbox shelf creates a cushion for the full glass front that not only defines our unique frame construction, but also protects the glass from breaking in shipment. All frames come individually boxed and ready for presentation. When loading your certificate, place it on the door back and close the frame. The white shelf keeps the certificate at the back of the frame for a dimensional shadowbox presentation in all of our frames. You might consider double-sided tape on the door back to hold the certificate position. Mat window opening is 10 14 x 7 3/4 representing a 1/4 certificate margin with slight reveal created by the shadowbox space.
Bargain Poly Frame
This is our entry-level frame and our most popular seller. Get the look and feel of metal at great price with our bargain frames. They are constructed with a unique engineered faux metal poly that has the look of a solid metal frame at a fraction of the price. Framed together with our standard glass, shadowbox mat and back, you will be very surprised at the dimensional look and heavy feel of this frame. Because it is lighter than metal you can keep shipping costs down. Special request a plexi front and you have the perfect cubicle document frame. Minimums may apply on plexi front orders.
Hardwood
Our hardwoods are stained a piano finish black or coffee brown. Our mat colors are chosen to match the tonality of the stains to beautifully compliment each presentation. The molding is made in the USA and has a fine grain. Stains are water base and eco-friendly. Don't buy another ugly plaque when you can have all the features of wood at a fraction of the cost. Avoid engraving those plates and use a certificate with full color graphics instead. Our entire wood award frame line feature easy load, heavy board door backs, dynamic shadowbox presentation and full glass fronts. All presented in our solid stained hardwood frames made just for you without the frame shop price.
Metal
Upgrade to solid metal for a solid look. Same shadowbox frame features. Sample photo shows both our sliver and gold colors.
Loading Your Certificates to Create Our Unique Presentation
By loading your certificate properly the certificate will be shadowboxed and dimensionally presented in each frame we sell. Your certificate should sit at the back of the frame held in by the white shelf. Please review the pictorial below to confirm you have loaded your certificates properly. The certificate should not touch the glass. Each back is dedicated to hold an 8 1/2 x 11 certificate. 8 x 10 is available in some colors. Note: in order for the 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper to be matted and shadowboxed the mat will overlap the certificate edge by approx 1/4 inch. Any graphics within 1/4 inch from the edge may be covered slightly by the mat. Please note: currently we do not offer frames that take an 11 x 14 certificate. You may special order a frame for any size document. Minimum qty 100.
YES- the certificate should sit on the white shelf edge. NO- you do not press it down inside the shelf.
NO- Certificate does not sit inside the spacer shelf, at the glass.
It will not fit there. If it did then it would not be a shadowbox. Certificate does not sit at glass. If there is any question about how the certificate fits in the frame please watch the video demo above.
Like Our Certificates?
Some products shown do display custom designed certificates. Others are customer-provided. Please call for inquiry, 800-833-4438. We charge a flat fee of $65 per custom layout and between $4 and $8 per digital print-out depending on your quantity. Minimums may apply. The majority of our customers supply their own certificates and are inspired by the certificate designs seen on our site when developing their certificate program.
We encourage samples. Please order one frame from our site and if you place an order in quantity we will apply that sample frame to your order. If you are not satisfied with your purchase sample, return your frame within 14 days for a full refund.
